'Tis the season...

For political ads on American television and radio. I'm already sick of
them. I get soooooo tired of the mudslinging, I just want to scream.

But with an election in less than a month, it's impossible to escape the ads.

That's why God invented TIVO & satellite radio. A few clicks on the remote and those talking heads zip right off the screen. Excellent picture and processing. Congrats on the new camera.

You think they are bad in California?
Politicians where I live are ultra stupid or they think all voters are.

Are you kidding? I love 'em!
I Tivo them all, then invite friends over. We have this cool game where we turn the volume down and do voice overs.

And the worse is that the richer you are, the more you can deliver your bullshit!

We had elections here last sunday, and had just about the same feeling you had. Everday, the mailbox was filled with their silly publicity, and everywhere in the street were those silly portrait of people asking to vote for them. I often suggested they needed a more creative photographer, to at least have a more original picture, maybe than at least some people would pay attention...

I agree with you and Snootydog. I can't abide politicking.
snootydog13-Oct-2006 03:40
I'm snootydog and I have approved the following message:
I can't bear politicking in any way shape or form. It makes me nuts. I turned off my television back in the spring and have given up newspapers and internet news. I only turned the tell back on for this season's mindless debut of survivor and to see Katie Couric on her first night doing the evening news (I still don't understand THAT move). So, I am not hearing the politicking thank god because it does make me want to put my head through a wall. Then again, a lot of things make me want to put my head through a wall -- healthcare, health insurance, W, politcal correctness, and certain family members, to name just a few.

The photo and processing are wonderful here though.

I agree with you, absolutely hate them :^O However, since the majority of Americans watch their boob tubes mindlessly, you will continue to see these ads, because they work :( As far as I'm concerned, anyone who makes up their mind who to vote for by watching mudslinging ads needs a brain transplant :^O I like your offbeat comp and your processing here!
