The Glamour of Business Travel Wore Off

One day the glamour wore off, and he snapped. Two nights
in a Holiday Inn Express, where the first night he
could literally hear the guy in the next room
snoring, and the following night, where he could
hear someone in the OTHER room playing "drums" on
a wastebasket at midnight, must have finally pushed him over the edge.

His frequent flyer miles will be burnt, and the ashes
scattered over the sea.

(This picture is an example of what one can do when one is
completely bored out of one's mind, alone in one's hotel room
at night.)

This is awesome. Captures perfectly the sheer boredom and frustration of the lone business traveller....

Alone in his hotel room he thought I`ll try Autoerotic Asphyxiation but he slipped from the edge of the chair as the flash went off. The last known photo of Gary Winters.

Why fret when you have access to the mini-bar?

You have my sympathy. But put down the tie and pick up your camera!

Don't do it Gary... slip it round the neck of someone in the next room and save us the same fate.

A pair of fluffy blue earmuffs is what you need Gary.

Well here is one "hang up" that has served you well. Wonderful SP Gary ... and I truly identify with your story about travel. Excellent work.

Fun portrait Gary! Do you watch "married with children"? Well this photo reminds me of Al! Especially when Peggy is about to foil his fun!

In Washington, DC I was in an elegant boutique hotel with doors made of some kind of echo-producing material. The ice machine down the hall sounded like it was in my bed.

Look for good shots. That's my only consolation of business travel-fresh fodder for the camera!

Ummm...you do look pretty realisitic there.

Now that's a graceful exit, Gary. Imagine what the guy playing the drums will think when the maid wakes him up in the morning, screaming.
(Not that I condone such a thing, but this is pretty creative)

Lol. I can understand what you mean, because I often spend nights in hotels (because my job of course).
Listenening someone´s TV or snoring or even another kind of sounds......
