My New Favorite Mexican Restaurant

I went to my new apartment today for keys and paperwork. They're still
putting some finishing touches on the place, so I couldn't get any good
"before I move my stuff in" pictures.

Afterwards, my friend Lyall and I went for dinner at a very nearby
(walking distance) Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, I can't remember
the name but it's in University Heights for you San Diegans on Park Blvd.

Food was DELICIOUS and my carne asada burrito was only $3.99. Mmmmm!

Had to snap off one quick picture although my white balance was wrong
and I tried to hand hold at 1/10 of a second. I still like the shot!

love the shot, nice feel to it! Love Mexican food in CA and LOVE that price you paid!

I like this. You must have a lot steadier hand than I do; I get blurring even at 1/30.

I think I've seen this place before -- my dad's photo studio is on Park Blvd there in University Heights. Sure are a lot of cool little shops and restaurants in that area.

What shot do you like? The picture or the Mexican tequila shot?

Down home places in neighborhoods that are just for the locals always make for the best places to eat.

Cool photo, Gary ... and just think - not a packing box in sight! Mst have felt good just to be away from it all for a while.
I kinda like the warm feeling the light creates.

Oh yes so natural!! I can imagine with some "guacamole and chile"!!!

I like it too. It shows people in a natural way, unposed.
