Roads, Railroad, Paths & Driveways

Roads and Paths... Someone said…They are a way to heaven Or to hell. Some one again said they are a way to heaven AND hell.... Then NoBody said softly…The road takes you Nowhere... the traveler does… the wandering mind does... The road is always Now and Here…like the Spirit in all and around!
But no one can dispute the fact that each road has a story to tell... Some roads are rich with history and the mystery of the horse trails of the outback or the weather beaten gravel paths of the Himalayas while others with the culture of the outback and tribes of the hinterland. Some look so enchanting that they draw one out just ‘To Be’ on it just because they exist (run like Forest Gump!)...and some are made of iron with locos on the loose and trains you can choose! Some are called ’Freeways’ that are ‘imprisoned’ with speed fetters. And then some beckon you with your Harleys & Goldwing Tourers, while others call out for the wild passion of a Ferrari or Corvette--all their horses unleashed…
Ah! The pain and pleasure-... who can tell... just walk Gypsy Soul... just drive just cruise just sing just dance …for that is the destiny of the Eternal traveller... …. The Road is the church –the temple- the Gurudwara, the synagogue and the mosque …The Voyager’s place of worship….The roads of planet Earth… Eternal Road to Nowhere ...Going so far and discovering you are nowhere and then SuDDeNly God Is Now-Here!!

u r an ardent photographer. the photos say it all. Banikhet near Dalhousie is also a very scenic location, it has a helipad as well, where u can get to photograph the indian bear, if lucky! the winding roads are scary but very photographable... wish u many more photographic moments.
