Wekan Village is located in Wadi Mistal (Rustaq)- the village is located up in an area surrounded by mountains (Al-Ghubrah Bowl). The village is famous of Peach & Apricots trees blossoming season (mid Feb) And of being one of the nice places for hikers to go.


Directions: Go from Muscat to Barka until you reach Barka roundabout then head to the left, bypass Nakhal and go all along the road until you see a road sign (Wadi Mistal), head left and after 5 KM the paved road is finishing (I advise you drive with 4H to have more stability on the graded road). Continue your way off-road and you'll pass by a small village. Continue your way until you see a sign (Al-Hijar) then go right, you'll start driving up-hill and you'll come across a small village (go through it) , then you'll see a sign "Qorah" then after than you'll see a sign to the village "Wekan". The people of these regions are extremely nice people & hospitable, but you also should respect them back.
