Converted Camera Infrareds

I had my Nikon D70S converted to shoot Infrared only by LifePixel.
This allows me to handhold the camera, use different lenses and I
can now see through the lens.

I keep upgrading my cameras with the next model (Fujifilm S2, then S3, then S5, now maybe the Nikon D3) and I've always liked IR photography. Maybe I'll convert one of my old cameras. :) Beautiful work!

Lifepixel says the filter they user is equivalent to the Hoya R72.

Great pictures. I like them a lot. I want to try IRs. In the old days I tried with film IRs they are so cumbursome and expensive!!! Now with digital cameras it is a new ball game. By the way which filter you use? Hoya 72?
