1 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (Nestles works)
1 1/2 cups oven-toasted Rice Krispies
3/4 cup dried cranberries, cherries or raisins
1/3 cup slivered almonds (You may want to toast these)
1/2 tsp vanilla
Cover a large baking sheet with waxed paper.
Place chocolate chips in a glass bowl and microwave 45 seconds. Stir and microwave another 45 secs. Stir until smooth. Add cereal and remaining ingredients. Stir quickly to combine.
Drop mixture by tablespoonsful onto baking sheet. Chill 1 hour or until firm. Store in refrigerator in airtight container.
