Canon 1D Mark II Vs.Kodak DCS Pro Slr/c

All shots with cameras on tripod, remote control, mirror lockup, matrix metering, central focus point selected, f/4 with 17-40 4L (1D MkII shots at 17mm, Slr/c shots at 22mm), jpeg from raw file not sharpened open and converted with PS CS2.

1) Noise: 1DII is the clear winner as aspected, especially in shadows slr/c noise levels are very bad.
2) Colours and tones: I'd like more those from the Slr/c
3) Metering: 1D II is the winner here
4) AWB under artificial light: Slr/c is the winner
5) Resolution: from 8,2 to 13,5 MP there's a huge difference in details (Slr/c pro)
6) Sharpness: without post-production Slr/c files are amazingly sharp.

Conclusion: if you can get a used SLR/c (at nearly half the price of a new Canon 5D) and you already have a fast and good iso performer Canon DSLR body the Kodak with all its wellknown defeats can be a very interesting tool for landscapes and portraits, shooting raw.
