These photos are of a Beth Hart Band performance at Jimmi's Bar and Grill, in Fullerton, California on 10/13/05. This was my 2nd ever live Beth concert and the 2nd one in 5 days! To aptly describe seeing her live is simply beyond my ability. I've been attending concerts since the 60's and truly can't remember having a better, more moving, or all out rockin' good time in many many a moon! The MANY comparisons to Janis Joplin, who I was lucky enough to see live twice, are in spirit valid, but actually minimize Beth's superlative talents and charisma. My first such opportunity was buying her "Beth Hart: Live at Paradiso" DVD, and I could then heartily agree with Bart that Beth is a one of a kind woman. The absolute REAL... what you see is what you get, genuine soul laid bare... DEAL!!! An absolutely breathtaking and exhilirating concert experience! Beth is supported here by her amazing band; Jon Nichols on guitars (he creates huge walls of powerfully intricate sound, much like U2's The Edge), Tom Lilly (bassist extrordinaire), and Todd (blow the house down) Wolf on drums. Jimmi's was packed from wall to wall. I met lots of terrific Beth fans and had the most deliciouly loud ear ringing on the drive home, that I'd experienced in years.
