Met with Friends Don & Debbie Lutch at Roper Lake CG. Roper Lake is 40 miles northeast of Wilcox near Safford. Weather was chilly in the morning (33º) at 7am. The back drop to our site was the snow covered peaks of the Pinaleno Mountains. We stayed 3 nights. The campsites were spread out and roomy and we had water and electric at each site.
