Richard, there's good reason why you have so many comments over here ! Back in the days of 'dpreview', when I saw your work using a 105 and the DRebel. And myself trying to become a 'photographer' doing birds, I told myself "I got to get that lens" and try to do even 10% of what you were doing in macro, even then. I told myself, I would be so happy !! You're an inspiration to many of us, even today !

Cheers and a big vote for your outstanding work with insects ;)

Wow, These have to be some of the best macro work I have seen! You and Frank (beautifulbugs.com) are my favorite Macro photographers around!! do you use a ring flash or the double one that canon makes.. I forget the MT.. something or other???

Very nice. While colour, resolution etc is a function of the camera, I do admire the composition in most of the photos here. DOF seems pretty good too.
