Film or digital can not capture the emotional response to seeing a world encased in ice, but I couldn't resist trying to do at least one image of this memorable day. Trees were covered in ice making them look like they had been sprayed with tinsel and the sound of ice clinking as the wind blew was like a symphony of wind chimes.
