A View of Buffalo

This is a favorite shot of mine, I happen to be
working on it today as I have had a request for
a print. The shot was taken back in April. It is
fun revisiting.

I really like the lines and the contrasts in this
shot, and I like the city and the fact it was a
beautiful mid-spring night in Buffalo.

It is strange how the results of shootings can be
so varied. This one session in April produced three
or four images I consider favorites. I can go weeks
without shooting a shot that stays with me.

I think it is all related to the subject. If you enjoy,
like, are interested in or have a connection to the
subject the photography from those subject sessions
appears better to you. Simple and obvious, I guess.
