I wondered where all those bees were coming from this summer.
I did not see this hive before yesterday.

What a beautiful thing and a great photograph! I'm pretty sure this is a wasp nest, not bees.

This is the nest of Bald-faced hornets, technically not bees. But nice shot of the nest. Better 'surprised' this time of the year than in the summer!
