One of my morning routines, just before I go back upstairs to get ready for work, I usually spend some time in the backyard with my cup of coffee. Sitting there I see this view looking between our house and the neighbors on our north side. It is a city view, but there is something interesting about the lines of the houses, the street lamp, and the trees.

It certainly isn't as majestic as my son-in-law and daughter's view of the Rocky Mountains from their back yard in Salida, Colorado, but it is my view and there seems to be something peaceful about it.

I thought I'd share it with you.
