Late post and not much time to look at all the good PaDs out there tonight. I'll get to them tomorrow night.

Tonight Elaine, my wife, who is working on her Masters Degree in Education, received, as a part of this program, her Teacher Certification. What it means for Elaine is that she is now a Teacher, unemployed, but a High School Mathematics Teacher nonetheless. I guess she doesn't actually have the Certificate yet, the State of New York provides that at a later date, but she's done her part. Everyone is real proud of her effort. She did it as a middle aged woman with classmates who were kids younger than our own. It is something she wanted to do and bang, after years of work, there it is.

She still has to finish her Masters Degree (another year), but she can do that while she's teaching (no big deal, hey?).

Congrats to your wife, Elaine. Very proud moment as it takes a lot of time and dedication
for this certificate. And a math teacher. Very impressive.

Congrats to Elaine, way to go. My daughter had a 90 year old graduate in her class when she graduated from Brockport 2 years ago. Her fiance is taking classes for his certificate right now and will be starting his Masters next year, he is teaching PE and Health in Va. Beach and loving it.

Congratulations to her. Biggggg congratulations to her for achieving this with all those younger students. As a former teacher I say "welcome to the clan"; it is a rewarding profession.

That is terrific Elaine. You went off on a new tangent and multiplied your talents without dividing your life. Clearly an exponential improvement and in sum it adds up to being a great accomplishment.
