If you don't like the weather in Buffalo, hang around a minute as it will change.

Even for us stout hearted Buffalonians its..., "Enough Already"!

More pictures of our April 3 Snow Fall here.. http://www.pbase.com/dhnieman/inbox

Have a nice day.

Nice tones here, work well in B&W. You've more snow here than I have seen all year!
Guest 05-Apr-2005 21:36
You really weren't wrong when you said everything was covered in snow. Nice contrast with the tree trunks
wpmadden05-Apr-2005 05:13
definately not a dry powder!!!

It does look cool to us in the desert, who get no snow..lovley view.

My ex-wife was from East Aurora and she told me many stories about your snows up that way. But after living here in eternal sunshine she had to get a painting of a snow scene for the den because it was in her blood so deep.

Nice composition. We got snow yesterday, too. It fell on our newly set cherries, lilac blossoms and plum blossoms. Looks like were out of luck on our cherries this year.

You've made the snow look beautiful and you've got the contrast just right.

I'd say cool but that looks downright cold! :) great shot, I love paths and walkways too
Cliff04-Apr-2005 16:22
Well done - love paths and roads (in this case, sidewalks) leading into the distance. Too bad about the snow though - heh heh you should consider moving NORTH to Canada :o)

A heartbreaker. But it won't last long.

I can't believe the amount of snow! Very nice contrasts in the photo.

Wow, still winther in Buffalo? Here we have spring now :)
Guest 04-Apr-2005 08:59
Hahahhaha, I had the "WTF" feeling when I woke up and saw the snow on the ground!
Guest 04-Apr-2005 04:45
I like the perspective and B+W. Thanks! Hope y'all get a permanent spring soon

You have got to be kidding me. Maybe you'll feel better after seeing the beach gallery I posted with my PaD today.

'Buffalonian'. That gave me a chuckle :) This photo is just great. Good call to desaturate it. Really emphasizes the tones.

Nice B&W. I know how this feels. We won't be out of the woods for it here until mid May.
Guest 04-Apr-2005 01:10
Very nice ... :)

The B&W is good, it fits the mood.
and I feel your pain!
Clyne03-Apr-2005 23:16
Makes me feel cold. Looks dangerously slippery underfoot. Nice in b/w.

It does seem that mother nature is unwilling to relenquish her hold on winter. Hopefully things will turn around soon!
