Buffalo Malt

My father owned and my brother now owns an industrial metal fabrication and machine business, that did/does a great deal of the dust collection and material handling for many of these grain elevators. As I was showing my brother this picture, he told me of an interesting anecdote. It seems the plant manager for Buffalo Malting had just paid good money to have the name painted on the side of this building. My brother's company was tasked with putting some new material handling ductwork in. Well, where it was planned to come out of the building was right through the "G" in Malting. This caused my brother some concern, but the plant manager simply said to go forward and put the ductwork where it needed to go. Thus the ductwork through the "G" resulted.

If you look hard you can see it in the photograph.
