Memorial Day 2011. I took the time this morning to attend the Memorial Day service at the Oakwood Cemetery in our little village of East Aurora. It is always more personal when we gather around markers of people we have known personally who gave at least a portion of their lives and time in service to maintaining the freedoms we so enjoy today. Of the photographs I took, the one of this young family effected me especially.
