I have travelled all over the United States and have never seen the devastation that is Youngstown, Ohio. I spent 2 months there working on the Obama Ohio Campaign for Change. The Neighborhood teams that I worked with delivered 93% of the vote for Barack with a turnout of 77%!! And we helped turn Ohio Blue!! Throughout my experience in Youngstown, I was impressed and touched by the determination of the people of Youngstown. Their spirit during the campaign was in direct contrast to the economic hardship that has come to define much of the City.

It was truly a memorable experience.
