Snowy owl was on my fence post 2/20 12:18am monday. Was bobbying his head in a dark outline on the post. I knew it was not a cat and then he spread his wings and flew off in a dark outline of his figure. Really cool. ds

Dave...saw the snowy owl photos...fantastic. this is one of the relatively few birds I
have had no luck phtographing over the years that I have done nature phtog. Live in
Rhinelander and always on the lookout for this magnificent bird, but as I said, no luck.
I called the Marina, spoke to a maintainance guy and he said no birds around there
recently. I WOULD MAKE A TRIP DOWN IF I THOUGHT I COULD GET SOME SHOTS/OF COURSE, as you
know it is always hit and miss. Would it be possible to keep in touch with me if the
owls make another appearance? Thanks a lot.

I was sent this website to look at a Black Crowned Night Heron I saw last Sunday at Horicon, just wonderful to get a full image. It was nice to see the yellow breated chat from Ohio since I missed it here in Waukesha and oh, my goodness, the Snowy Owl in Waukesha (I many days took a peak at), what shots! Great shots! What a phenomenal website! It's a keeper for me, since I'm a fairly new birder!

Thank you for sharing the snowy owl. Your pictures of her are breath taking. I was fortunate to have been able to share some time watching her and it was truly amazing. I believe she is now gone. I havn't seen her in almost a week. Your pictures are beautiful.
