Over an hour later?

This was going into Harvard Square.
It seemed reasonable at first.
Just a guy sitting on the steps.
Just scratching a couple of lottery tickets.
Everything seemed fine to me.
I was in the square about an hour and a half.
Took some pictures and just walked around.
As I was walking back to my truck I saw him.
He was sitting in the exact same spot.
He was still scratching lottery tickets.
Maybe it is the best he can do.
I think it might be unreasonable for me to judge.
But I am human and I observe.
I also thought how cold it was out.
It is a strange presentation here.
My scattered thoughts on a page.
And knowing my observation may be wrong.
Maybe he went back to the store and got more.
Maybe he won the last ones that paid for these.
Or maybe it was the same string of tickets.
Maybe he had been scratching them all morning.
I have no idea.
