Cocoa Beach Prototype Rails 2006

With the attraction of warmer weather, each January, Mike Brock, (owner of the Steam Freight Cars Yahoo Group list) puts together this fine meet in sunny (but cold this year) Cocoa Beach, FL. Prototype Rails is a well attended and well run two day meet with numerous clinics, vendors, model displays and a pair of modular layouts. Mike reported attendance at 207 this year. Everyone there had a good time.

David, Many thanks for all those great shots. In the room, the number of great models can be a bit overwhelming for a beginner, but those models do provide a target to shoot for. With your permission, I would like to use some of them for our Sunshine Region newsletter. By the way, one very small point, the name is Joe Brooke, one of our fine Florida modelers and a great guy!
