Hi

I enjoyed your photos of Argentina!
My husband and I, retired and 'gappers' are leaving in October for our second visit to Argentina/Chile. This time, instead of being on an organised adventure tour, we are backpacking (rather, with respect for our age, towing trolley bags) and have to be in Rosario for a fmily wedding. The photo taken from the balcony of the Residencial Mendoza is particularly interesting as we are looking for a cheapish hotel in the city. 5 star hotels are not our scene, we prefer to spend our pensions travelling by public transport and living in friendly hotels where the locals are to be found.

What is you opinion of the Residencial Mendoza? Also, any information about travelling by public transport through Argentina and Chile would be much appreciate.
