Finally... refugio Cuernos	our view of the peaks from the warmth of our cabin	Christmas leaves	Day 2 and obsessive photography
dense hobbit forests	a pause to appreciate how far we´ve come	higher yet	the peaks clearing thru stormy clouds
orange trees and steely rivers	it is snowing in the Valle de Frances	we are surrounded by a horseshoe of mountains	the sun is coming out!
riverbeds...	and glory!	we drank fresh water from this stream	the mirador
fresh snow clinging to the trail	peaks on all sides	beautiful....	so very happy!
what comes up must go down	the Frances glacier	pebbles along the shore of the lake	Day 4 - a repetition of the first leg of yesterdays´ hike
the peaks are clearer	sweaty and over it!	such distance to cover	walkways over swampy bogs
new vistas	new views of the lake	another storm coming?	turquoise waters of contemplation
I´m... too... sexy... for this hike	we never tire of the view	we were at the foot of those peaks only 1 day ago	Polk, Dan and Tom, wining and dining

Striking imagery here. Must be the fog, ice, mtns and sweeping views! Was stationed Temp Duty in Argentina/Mendosa as part of US Air Force/Tinker, Oklahoma 3-30mhz radio xmit/recieve. Took a bus tour up the east slope of Chile mtns. Cold, windy but partly sunny on top. Patches of snow. Still remember that trip. The staff sgt was mad as hell because I took off on my own. Ha!
