Darvesh is an elderly man who lives with his family in Gharm. He is very well known throughout the town. Darvesh means humble in Tajik. It is the nickname of this man. He doesn't have a proper job. Instead people give him money for the poetry and short stories he writes about people's lives. He also helps families in times of need such as after the death of a loved one.
