I have your panasonic (fantastic zoom and stabilised) and still enjoy it. I also bought the 400D and enjoy it (especially the low noise in flash and indoors). Do yourself a favor and buy the 40D and double your enjoyment... Maybe I should sell the 400d and get a 40d?
