I have had a passion for drawing since a small child. I pursued fine art and photography in college, always using my camera to obtain subject matter for paintings.
My love for history – particularly the Native American culture – has been the inspiration for my work in oil, colored pencil and graphite portraits. My paintings depict real people, taken from my camera or history books. I had the pleasure of traveling with the Native American people for 3-1/2 years, learning their culture and history first-hand which granted me the opportunity to take many photos for future artwork. My paintings have been the recipient of various awards and have been exhibited in galleries throughout the country. Some of my original pieces and prints are in private collections throughout the world.
Photographing landscape/nature, wildlife, pet portraits and fashion models is what you will find me doing most these days.
