East Africa - Kenya & Tanzania (2002)

Fall of 2002 we travelled to East Africa, mainly to see the birds. However, we couldn't help but see so much more. The other animals or just the sheer beauty of these countries often took precedence over the birds. Our Kenya safari (Sept 17 through Oct 12) was with Borderland Tours and our Tanzania safari (Oct 12 through Oct 27) was just the two of us and a guide from Hoopoe Tours.

Great pictures, Dave! Thanks for posting them and for the e-mail directions. I've downloaded a few, which I may add to our albums, with proper credit, of course. What a trip, eh?

Nice photos - reminds me of my trip from earlier this year. I wish I had seen lions hunting, thogh- that's the only thing I missed. I have photos online (user "vkalia"), in case you want to take a look.
