Our guide at Little Mombo worked very hard to find these cheetah. Apparently, the large number of lions in the area from an influx of new prides, probably forced the spotted cats away from their usual haunts. We found these cheetah on our very last game drive towards the outer areas of the game reserve, far away from camp. We guessed the single cheetah had just finished eating as it had a very big belly. The mother cheetah and her two cubs were resting in the heat of the day, but were still keeping a lookout for an easy impala meal.
