In June 2003 we traveled to Botswana. In retrospect, this trip seemed to be more about the animals than birds. It was great to see the birds, but views of the animals were magnificent. We flew to London where we joined up with our friends, Marty and Barb. From there it was off to Botswana where we stayed at three Wilderness Safaris camps (take a look at the "Camps" gallery as we use this term loosely) -- King's Pool, Jao and Little Mombo. On the return trip, we spent a few days in Cape Town at The Cape Grace hotel.
