The background color is from firing a red gel through an 11.5 inchreflector fitted with a diffuser and a red gel onto a black seamless paper,and the main light is a 36x48 Photoflex Litedome XTC softbox to the right of the camera. Judging from the degree of fill on the left side of the photo,I'd wager my 4x6 foot LiteForm white fabric reflector is the source of fill,and since the light's so flat, I am sure the reflector is very,very close to the subject. I can see that there's a hairlight/separation light which is my normal 11.5 inch reflector +grid + diffuser + barndoors.
