After what seems like an eternity, the new tram system in Edinburgh is nearing completion.
To date it's around 3 years late and the cost has more than doubled to one billion pounds!!
The first trams were tested today around the west of the city and airport and will gradually
be brought into the city centre over the coming three or four weeks.
This is the stop at St Andrew Square that I'm most likely to use when they're up and running.
Nice and handy for shopping at John Lewis', Marks and Spencers, Jenners and FOPP!
