DSCOVR (Falcon 9) February 11, 2015

February 11, 2015 - A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches the Deep Space Climate Observatory for the U.S Air Force, NOAA and NASA. DSCOVR will be positioned nearly a million miles from Earth and will monitor space weather and Earth's climate while taking multiple full disk images of the day side of the world every 24 hours.
