My tour arrived at Montreal in the evening. After checking in the hotel I dashed out to meet my friends Andrew and Alice who treated me to dinner. They have been living there for a long time, and through their conversations I learned some cultural background of their wonderful city, also the sad history of the early Chinese immigrants in Canada, something I didn't hear from the tour guide.

Due to the heavy rain that lasted overnight, the next morning my group could only take photos inside St Joseph's Oratory (#1-4), Notre Dame Basilica (#5-7) and the Olympic Stadium (#8-18). It was when we were descending the Olympic Tower we noticed that the sky had just started to clear up.
