I did not get to see that much of Lima. The first day when I was there, it was foggy. The guide said most of the time the weather was like that in Lima due to its location in a valley. The sky is usually unclear and it rains a lot. I missed some points of interest, planning to cover them before leaving Peru.
On the last day of the tour we came back to Lima in order to fly home from its international airport, and the sky looked slightly better that day. But, unfortunately I had caught a bad cold when I flew back to Lima from the freezing Juliaca Airport in the highland. I was so sick that I did not even leave the hotel room the rest of the day.
