Actually we didn't really get to the lakeside. It was only a quick stop for lunch on our way back to Istanbul after touring around the country for 12 days. Everyone kind of couldn't wait to see Istanbul again, as if it had become our "acting" hometown.
It was the most scenic place for a lunch break along the highway. I spent almost all the time taking pictures. I only had 5 minutes left to stand in line with my shaking knees to grab a pack of cookies before boarding the bus. A lovely tour mate Tiffany (from San Jose) spared me half of her sandwich. She saved my life. She'll be part of the reason for my next trip to California.
