When I was a teen, we would often go to the Culver Beach and meet girls. The problem was we shared a car so Greg was always with us. No matter what the rest of us said or did, Greg was always surrounded by girls. The rest of us might get a few minutes comversation if we were lucky.

One day I asked Greg his secret. After much pleading, he finally shared it with me. He would put a potato in his swin trunks and then never go in the water. Since I had seen how well it worked, I tried it. The next time we went to the beach, I found a nice medium sized potato to put in my shorts. I was proudly strutting up and down the beach just waiting for the girls to flock to me. But if anything, they ignored me more than usual. Even the ones I knew would head the other way when I waved. Since I had sworn to keep Greg;s secret, I could not ask him until a day later when we were alone. It was then he told me, "Next time put it in the front of your trunks."
