Back Bay: Intersection of Old and New

This was taken at the corner of Newbury and Berkeley in Boston. I really like the view there, because it's so Boston:
an old brick building, followed by art deco mid-rises, followed by the shiny Hancock building. Boston is nothing if not eclectic.

I like this collection of so different buildings. The angles and curves go very well together, and the image has many different layers

I like the B&W version. The reason being, it puts all the structures on the same playing field...so to speak. A lot going on in this image and you used the business to your advantage. All the angles going in different directions while still appearing to be connected is special.

Both are nice. I think I lean toward the B&W presentation. May be my mood today (or the past several days :) ). I really like the lines in this architectural composition and your analysis also!

Wow. I love the lines in your image. The story told is excellent, and the tones very interesting.

Wow, nicely seen. You really have an excellent composition here, the corner of one building and then the alternating diagonal faces.
Voted.
