Boston Blizzard of 2005: Snow Day in Beacon Hill

We were hit with about 30 inches. I've definitely never seen anything like snowmobiles and cross-country skiing down Charles Street!

I remember this day- we had to run errands and ended up spending 12 hours on the road. Your pictures have made me quite nostalgic-we had to move from Boston to Delaware and it so miss the snow!!! Your pics are great, thank you so much for sharing.

My husband and I used to live at 48, Cedar Lane Way. Impressive pics of the neighborhood. What a gem it is. We do miss it. We now live in Vermont though, so the level of snow in your photoes doesn't seem like too much of a big deal!

Just nasty! After living my first 21 years in metro Boston, I corrected the mistake made by my parents and moved to the West Coast. You ought to have your head examined for living in cold climates.

WOW! that is cool im from texas and the most snow we have ever goten was 5 in and i dident even get to see it fall. WOW yall are lucky

WOW YOU GOT A LOT I LIVE IN VIRGINA AND WE GOT ABOUT 10 INCHES OF SNOW THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS A LOT.

Wow, Have you had some snow. We havn't seen anything like that in this part of the world (Scotland) for a number of years. Great shots of the cars.
