thirstland



The "Great Thirstland" refers to a part of south western Africa spanning the borders of South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
The Kalahari Desert occupies most of this thirstland. "Kalahari" literally means "place of no water". These pictures
were taken during a ten day trip in the Augrabies Falls National Park and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
