Now to return the favor: Shawn’s Top 5
st Place – The 25th – This is a prime example of thinking outside of the box. Instead of shooting your dog, you shot the reflection of your dog. I like her real legs in there and I really like the water ripples. Good Work.
nd Place – The 13th – Your grandmother is a tough cookie. I love her facial expression and her putting up her dukes. Her outfit really stands out from the brick wall which puts her front and center. She is a good sport for doing it.
rd Place – The 31s - This is a good old fashioned beautiful flower shot. I know we see a lot of them but this one is really good. The angle is great and the colors are fantastic. I like the top flowers’ position and I love the little bit of negative space at the bottom.
th Place – The 21st – I love the lines in this. The grass, the sidewalk, the fire lane; they are all great. The colors are great too. Nice shot from a high vantage point.
th Place – The 27th – This goes for both of us. We saw this guy painting and took the exact photo. I like the “over the shoulder” look to it. The painting and his bright red shirt are exposed very good. I also like the paint brush sticking out of his mouth. He wasn’t doing that in my shot. Nice Work.
