Anthony Kearns is a founder-member of The Irish Tenors, and spends part of the year performing solo with his accompanist, Patrick Healy. The Delta Police Pipe Band were fortunate enough to secure him for a fund-raising concert in November, 2008, in Delta. Kearns has an engaging stage presence and his "Irish" voice soothes and charms the audience. The bonus is the Tales from the Road, told by Patrick Healy in the breaks that Anthony takes to refresh himself. A veteran of fifty years On the Boards, Patrick has a fund of amusing anecdotes that had the audience in tears of laughter. The concert was a total sellout and brought a new standard of high-class entertainment to Delta.
