1926 saw the unveiling of a Fryderyk Chopin monument in Warsaw’s Royal £azienki Park. The monument was designed by Wac³aw Szymanowski, a renowned Polish sculptor. Destroyed during World War II, it was reconstructed in the post-war years and returned to its place in 1958. Since 1959 Chopin music concerts featuring celebrated pianists have been held at the foot of the monument.
The concert season lasts from May to September with concerts held every Sunday at 12:00 and 16:00.
