Pacific Treefrog (male) 02

I crawled around in the wet grass
and mud for these shots. Made me
look like I had been doing some
impressive yard work!!!

Sometimes we must suffer for art's sake! Well done Debbie, this result was worth the effort. ~V~

Lovely catch, Debbie! After crawling in the mud, I would say that it was well worth it!! ~V~

What a well behaved model, someone has to get dirty and it's not the frog..love it..v

Ah, just tell you husband to return the lawn mower; the Sunday mud wrestling with your neighbor does not have to continue ;-) This is one excellent frog capture! The pose couldn't be better. He/she (I can never tell) looks close to a toad in skin texture, but not color. I've seen some miniature toads up in Portland, hors d'œuvre for the garter snakes I believe. Tack sharp and perfect color control; great nature photograph. g

If you had used a 500mm f/4 on a tripod, you wouldn't have had this problem, Debbie!! Still it's a wonderful capture. Vote
