The Party's Over
It didn't take long to wear these two out in 95-freakiing-degree heat at the park this afternoon. The clan gathered to celebrate Father's Day and my father-in-law's birthday. After a filling dinner of homemade ice cream, we packed it in and headed back to the house to the air conditioning.

The Boys are Back in Town
This is pretty much how our family room looks the whole time our grandkids are here visiting. We put toys away several times a day, but really, why bother? It doesn't matter, because they are only little once, and I want to enjoy every minute I have with them.

Shoes
I have 2 year old identical twin grandsons. Sometimes I still can't believe there are two of them. Which means four little shoes. And they are the same size, so it doesn't matter who wears which ones, as long as you have a left and a right.

School's Out for Summer
Today, my daughters and I took my grandsons over to the elementary school to the playground. This is the school my girls attended, and we all experienced the strange feeling of revisiting a place from your childhood. By the way, the playground rocks!

The star is an antique hanging rack that I paid way too much for, but had to have, and the wreath is from bittersweet vines I cut in my woods.

Stained Glass
