These beautiful photos were made by © Dorothy Williams Potter and were scanned from Kodachrome slides. The Nativity Scene was sponsored by Harvey's Department Stores and was on display in Nashville's Centennial Park from 1953-1967. Thank you for posting these pictures! I grew up going to centennial park to see the nativity every year. Its sad that our children and grandchildren will never have these memories. While Opryland has a good nativity, it doesn't come close...at least from my memories.

Thank you for posting these pictures of the Navtivity scenes. I enjoyed them so much, as they were a part of my teenage and young adult life. What wonderful memories these pictures bring back to me of days gone by! I wish I could relive them once again.

This bring back so many memories of taking my children to see this display at the Parthenon during the 70's.
