This was my first trial. The photos, however, are of everything *but* Airlie's run -- hard to give her direction and use camera at the same time. As it was, I'm thankful for that; our debut run was a complete disaster. (Maybe it wasn't such a good idea for met to joke about expecting public humiliation at my first trial.) We were OK on the outrun and fetch, but things went downhill from there. Sheep were really skittish, and neither Airlie nor I adjusted accordingly. The wear to the first panel pretty much collapsed, and then the damn sheep saw the exhaust gate and bolted. We tried to dig them out, but only managed to scatter them, and Airlie took after one of them and came back with a mouth full of wool. Instant DQ. First trial - DQ, no points, no qual., no nothing. Great going, dweeb.
