I've always considered running the sport designed for me -- it requires no particular talent, and it's cheap (if you don't count orthopaedic bills, frustration, humiliation, and making-up dinners). Although I certainly don't cut a svelt, handsome figure myself, I do find that lots of others do -- so I take a lot of pictures. So, don't look for me here, but look for some shots of determination, exhaustion, sweat, and, occasionaly, joy and satisfaction. You may also want to check out the website of the Montgomery County Road Runners Club (Maryland), a dandy group of folks (about 4,000) who enjoy running and the people one meets while running.
