The medical mission to Afghanistan was conducted under the aegis of CURE International (www.cureinternational.org).
This mission was undertaken in 2008 -- before the violence became so terrible. It is horrible to think of the conditions under which the people in Kabul and much of the rest of the country suffer. May it end soon. --dds
